As we finished up our packing, our "carry-on only" strategy quickly went
out the window and we loaded up two 50-pound bags in addition.
After lunch, we made our way over to the Houston airport for our British
Airways flight. Guessing we wouldn't get much cajun food in Europe or
Africa, we opted for dinner at Pappadeaux at the airport. Our
flight departed promptly at 7:55pm for our
overnight trip across the Atlantic. Quote of the day: "Will, man,
why do you always do that to your boarding passes?" |
