On Tuesday, March 25, 2003 ACISD held the 3rd annual district wide science fair. There were 96 participants ranging from 1st grade to 8th grade. Thank you to all the judges who gave their time judging these great projects: Nan Jackson, from Texas Parks and Wildlife Marine Lab: Dennis Pridgen and Jim Giesen; from Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden department: Captain John Muery; from the Texas Maritime Museum: Scott Enter; from the Mid Coast division of Texas Master Naturalist: T.J. Fox, Ray Kirkwood, Chris Kirkwood and from ACISD: Susan Kovacs. The top three places will advance to the Coastal Bend Science Fair, which will be held on May 2-4, 2003 at Tuloso- Midway High School. The awards ceremony will be on Sunday at 3 pm. For more information contact your student’s science teacher.
